Happy Dumplings was born from a passion for handmade dumplings and the joy of bringing people together around a shared meal. We started with a simple dream: to create a vibrant space where the aroma of sizzling dumplings fills the air, laughter echoes through the restaurant, and every guest leaves with a full belly and a happy heart. Our mission is to spread dumpling happiness throughout Seattle, one carefully crafted fold at a time.
LILY & MARCUS
Our Founders
Lily grew up watching her grandmother craft dumplings in Shanghai with meticulous care and love. Marcus discovered his passion for hospitality working in Seattle's best restaurants. Together, they envisioned a place that honors traditional dumpling-making while celebrating the warmth and energy of Seattle's diverse community. In 2019, they opened Happy Dumplings, bringing their shared dream to life.
